#CatalanGP: TOP-20 THE MAXIMUM AFTER A DIFFICULT WEEKEND IN SPAIN

TOP-20 THE MAXIMUM AFTER A DIFFICULT WEEKEND IN SPAIN

For Dominique Aegerter, all efforts were in vain to move more towards the front during Sunday’s race.

Round seven of the season’s calendar was accompanied by glorious weather. On Sunday, temperatures increased significantly even though it was cooler and more pleasant at the time of the race than during the previous day’s qualifying. Nevertheless, the prospects in point of view Dominique Aegerter for the Moto2™ Gran Premi de Catalunya weren’t at its best as the difficulties from the previous days were omnipresent so that he could hardly build up a feeling and confidence with his bike during the race too.

After two Grand Prix in Southern Europe, the paddock moves now to the northern part of the Netherlands for the traditional TT Assen on the last weekend in June.

#77 Dominique AEGERTER (Kiefer Racing), 20. (Championship position 15, 20 points):

"The race was as disappointing as the whole weekend. I never could find a good feeling with the bike. During qualifying, we improved a little bit, but we still lost too much to the top. In the race it was no different, although I really gave everything and fought like a lion. We lost too much time in the fast corners and due to the grip level in acceleration. We have to get grips with these disadvantages as quickly as possible. We have to work hard on this, otherwise we will face an even more complicated situation going to Assen at this ultra-fast track there."
